From 8th April to 02nd May, 2015, The Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Administration (KHOA) organized the training course named “Ocean observation and hydrographic survey” sponsored by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Students attended the training course came from 4 countries such as: Cambodia, Vietnam, Timor Leste, Philippines.
The course providedparticipants with knowledge on ocean observation, offshore areas, processing natural ocean disaster, and deep knowledge of hydrographic surveying such as: paper charts, electronic navigation chart, measurement processing technology and tide forecasts, maritime safety, sounding multibeam, Lidar, satellite buoy…
After thetraining, VMS-South’s participants completed the action program report in 2015 after 03 weeks for studying and were evaluated excellently by the organization board.
