Pilotage Service

One of the main tasks of Southern Vietnam Maritime Safety Corporation (VMS-S) is to lead vessels into port, anchorage area… This task is performed by maritime pilotage companies under VMS-S.

 Maritime pilotage companies:
1. First zone Maritime Pilotage Single-member Limited Liability Company: supply pilotage services in the area of Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, Binh Duong province, Dong Nai province, Long An province, ports on Tien river.

2. Fifth zone Maritime Pilotage Single-member Limited Liability Company: supply pilotage services in the area of Mekong Delta, port on Hau river.

3. Seventh zone Maritime Pilotage Single-member Limited Liability Company: supply pilotage services in the area of Binh Dinh province, Phu Yen province.

4. Eighth zone Maritime Pilotage Single-member Limited Liability Company: supply pilotage services in the area of Khanh Hoa province, Ninh Thuan province, Binh Thuan province.

5. Ninth zone Maritime Pilotage Single-member Limited Liability Company: supply pilotage services for offshore oil-rigs.
