Fairway: Định An – Cần Thơ.
VMS-South would like to inform that:
Within range of Dinh An – Can Tho bottom of fairway, is limited and guided by maritime signaling system, Depth in meters to Chart Datum “0” on the chart as follows:
- Dinh An (from buoy “0″ to buoy “16″) width bottom design flow measuring 100m in length 17,0km:
- The stream from buoy “0″ to buoy “3″, approximately 2.7 km in length, Depth in meters to Chart Datum is 3.0 m.
- The stream from buoy “3” to the upstream buoy “4” + 640m, 900m in length, Depth in meters to Chart Datum is 2.0m.
- The flow from the upstream of buoy “4” + 640m to upstream of buoy “6” + 450m, 980m in length, Depth in meters to Chart Datum is 1.1 m.
- The flow from the upstream of buoy “6” + 450m to upstream of buoy “6A” + 420M, approximately 1.6 km in length, the minimum depth of the heart flow is 0.5m, the smallest depth is shallow strip adjacent marginal 0.2 M stream.
- The flow from the upstream of buoy “6A” + 420M to upstream of buoy “8” + 740m, length 2,3km, the smallest depth in cardiac flow is 2.0m, the smallest depth is 1.6 m strip of land adjacent to the stream edge.
- The flow from the upstream of buoy “8” + 740m to buoy “10”, approximately 1.4 km in length, Depth in meters to Chart Datum is 2.4 m or more.
- The flow of buoy “10” to buoy “12”, length 2,0km, Depth in meters to Chart Datum is 2.6 m or more.
- The flow of buoy “12” to buoy “16”, length 5.8 km, Depth in meters to Chart Datum is 4.0 m or more.
- The flow of maritime signaling buoy “16″ to Can Tho port width 200m wide bottom design flow, length 102,0km:
- Shallow barrier strip extends from upstream of buoy “30” + 1260m to downstream of buoy “34” – 630m, about 5,1km length, the smallest depth in shallow strip reach is 3.4m.
- Situated right strip extends from downstream of buoy “34” – 630m downstream to Buoy “36″ – 580, approximately 2.5 km in length, farthest stream encroachment 68m, smallest depth in the dry strip is 5.3 m reach.
- In addition to the above mentioned bands shallow depth of the flow reaches from 5,7m or more.
- The flow from the Can Tho port to Vam Rach O Mon width 100m wide bottom design flow, length 11,6km, Depth in meters to Chart Datum is 9,0m and up.

Mariners navigating on Dinh An – Can Tho fairway follow Aton system, and comply with the rules, guidance of Can Tho Administration for maritime safety.
