VMS-South would like to inform that:
Within range of surveyed fairway bottom designing, dredging and maintenance of sallow sections on Vung Tau – Thi Vai fairway (including Dinh River fairway in 2020, after surveyed and transferred the site, limited and guided by AtoN system, the least depth in meters from Datum Chart as follows:
- Dredging area of Vung Tau – Thi Vai fairway:
- Area 2: From Km 12+500 to Km 21+000 (From upstream of AtoN buoy no. “19”+800m to downstream of AtoN buoy no. “13”-1.700m), the smallest fairway width is 310m:
- Depth point band is on port hand side of fairway from downstream of AtoN buoy no. “14” – 1650m to downstream of AtoN buoy no. “16” – 320m, is 3,6km long, the furthest point encroaches 75m on fairway, the least depth of fairway is 13,5m.
- Depth point band is on port hand side of fairway from downstream of AtoN buoy no. “16” – 320m to upstream of AtoN buoy no. “18” + 290m, is 1,6km long, the furthest point encroaches 100m on fairway, the least depth of fairway center is 13,6m, the least depth of fairway is 12,7m.
- Depth point band is on starboard hand side of fairway from downstream of AtoN buoy no. “15” – 1000m to downstream of AtoN buoy no. “15”-100m, is 900m long, the furthest point encroaches 70m, the least depth of fairway is 13,4m.
- Depth point band is on starboard hand side from downstream of AtoN buoy no. “15”-100m to AtoN buoy no. “17”, is 1,4km long, the furthest point encroaches 130m on fairway, the least depth of fairway is 12,7m.
- Depth point band is on starboard hand side from AtoN buoy no. “17” to upstream of AtoN buoy no. “19” + 730m, 2,9km long, the furthest point encroaches 160m on fairway, the least depth at fairway center is 14,0m, the least depth of fairway is 12,0m.
- Area 3: From Km 30+750 to Km 32+600 (From upstream of AtoN buoy no. “5”+1130m to downstream of AtoN buoy no.“5”-800m), the smallest fairway width is 310m, the least depth is 11,8m on starboard hand side of fairway, the least depth at fairway center is 13,7m.
- Area 4: From Km 35+000 to Km 37+450 (From upstream of AtoN buoy no. “1”+1900m to downstream of AtoN buoy no. “1”-550m), the smallest fairway width is 310m:
- Depth point band is on starboard hand side of fairway from downstream of AtoN buoy no. “1” -550m to downstream of AtoN buoy no. “1”-340m, is 110m long, the furthest point encroaches 22m on fairway, the least depth is 13,3m.
- Depth point band is on starboard hand side of fairway from downstream of AtoN buoy no. “1” -60m to upstream of AtoN buoy no. “1”+120m, is 60m long, the furthest point encroaches 20m on fairway, the least depth is 13,0m.
- Section from upstream of AtoN buoy no. “1” +750m to upstream of AtoN buoy no. “1” + 1200m, is 450m long, the least depth is 13,6m.
- The section from downstream of AtoN buoy no. “3” -750m to downstream of AtoN buoy no. “3” – 350m, is 400m long, the least depth is 13,6m.
Except depth points mentioned above, depth of fairway is 14,0m up.
- Dredging area of Dinh River fairway:
- Section 1: From sea (bordering on Vung Tau – Thi Vai fairway) to Vietsovpetro wharf, is 100m wide:
- Depth point Band is on starboard hand side of fairway from downstream of AtoN buoy no. “3” -200m to downstream of AtoN buoy no. “5”-500m, is 1770m long, the furthest point encroaches 40m on fairway, the least depth is 6,4m.
- Depth point Band is on port hand side of fairway from downstream of AtoN buoy no. “4” -300m to upstream of AtoN buoy no. “4”+300m, is 600m long, the furthest point encroaches 22m on fairway, the least depth is 6,6m.
- Depth point Band is on port hand side of fairway from downstream of AtoN buoy no. “6” + 50m to upstream of AtoN buoy no. “6”+550m, is 500m long, the furthest point encroaches 29m on fairway, the least depth is 6,7m.
Except depth point bands mentioned abovem depth of fairway is 7,0m up.
- Section 2: From Vietsovpetro wharf to the upstream wharf of Vina Offshore company200m, is 80m wide, the least depth is 5,6m.
- Section 3: From upstream of wharf of Vina Offshore Company 200m to the confluence of Cay Khe river, is 80m wide, the least depth is 4,5m.
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:
All vessels navigating on Vung Tau-Thi Vai fairway, Dinh River fairway based on Notice to Mariners, Sounding Charts for maritime safety. Pay attention to depth point bands, depth points, absolutely comply with appointment of Vietnam Maritime Administration of Vung Tau for maritime safety./.
