Section fairway: Sections Vịnh Gành Rái, Dần Xây, Kervella, Mũi L’est, Propontis, Đá Hàn, phao “58”, Navioil, P71-ĐT83, VQ01, VQ02 turning basin.
VMS-South would like to inform that:
Within surveyed in bottom of Sài Gòn – Vũng Tàu fairway, 150m in width, section Vịnh Gành Rái, 400m in width is limited and guided by AtoN system depth in meters to Chart Datum:
1) Within surveyed in shallow Vịnh Gành Rái (Section from upstream of buoy “8” Vũng Tàu – Thị Vải fairway + 800m to upstream of buoy “3” + 800m).
- Shallow on left of fairway from downstream of buoy “2” – 800m to downstream of buoy “2” – 400m, 400m in length, distance from fairway 190m, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 8,4m.
- Shallow on left of fairway from downstream of buoy “4” – 260m to downstream of buoy “4” – 170m, 90m in length, distance from fairway 32m, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 8,3m.
- Excepting shallows above, depth in meters to Chart Datum is over 8,5m.
2) Within surveyed in shallow Dần Xây (Section from downstream of buoy “29”- 400m to upstream of buoy “26”+400): depth in meters to Chart Datum is 8,5m.
3) Within surveyed in shallow Kervella (Section from downstream of buoy “28”- 400m to buoy “33”):

- Excepting shallows above, depth in meters to Chart Datum is over 8,5m.
8) Within surveyed in shallow Navioil (Section from buoy “67” to upstream of buoy “69”+850m): depth in meters to Chart Datum is over 8,5m.
9) Within surveyed in shallow P71-ĐT83 (Section from buoy “71” to upstream of beacon “83”+1300m):
- Shallow crosses fairway from downstream of buoy “64” – 200m to upstream of buoy “64” + 370m, 570m in length, depth in meters to Chart Datum is over 8,1m (central fairway), depth in meters to Chart Datum is over 7,4m (in shallow) close to left of fairway.
- Shallow on right of fairway from upstream of buoy “64” + 370m to buoy “75”, 570m in length, distance of fairway 50m, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 6,4m close to border of fairway.

- Shallow on left of fairway from upstream of buoy “66” + 35m to upstream of buoy “66” + 280m, 245m in length, distance of fairway 10m, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 7,1m.

11) Within surveyed in VQ02 turning basin is D = 480m at area is opposite Kênh Tẻ: depth in meters to Chart Datum is over 4,5m
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:
All vessels navigating on Sài Gòn – Vũng Tàu fairway should follow Notice to Mariners, paper chart and AtoN system to have methods of safety navigation, and absolutely comply with the Administration of Ho Chi Minh city for maritime safety./.
