Section Fairway: Shallow sections in Gành Rái Bay, from buoy “71” to Beacon “83”, turning basin VQ01.
Southern Vietnam Maritime Safety Corporation would like to inform:
Within surveyed bottom fairway is 150m in width, the section of Ganh Rai Bay is 400m limited and guided by AtoN system, depth surveyed by meter to Chart Datum as follows:
- Shallow section of Gành Rái Bay: Section from the upstream of buoy “8” on Vung Tau- Thi Vai fairway + 800m to the upstream of buoy “3” + 800m showed on Sounding Chart signed from no. VGR_1512_01 to VGR_1512_05, depth is 8,5m and over.
- Shallow section from Buoy “71” to Beacon “83”: Section from buoy “71” to the upstream of beacon “83”+1300m showed on Sounding Chart signed from no. ĐT83_1512_01 to ĐT83_1512_07, depth is 8,5m and over.
- Turning basin VQ01: Within surveyed semi-circle has diameter is 340m at waters in front of Sai Gon Port showed on Sounding Chart signed no. VQ1_1512, depth is 8,5m and over
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:
All means navigating on Sai Gon-Vung Tau fairway have to follow AtoN system.
