NOTICE TO MARINERS
DEPTH OF DINH AN – CAN THO FAIRWAY
TVH – 12 – 2012
– Territorial water: Tra Vinh Province.
– Fairway’s name: Dinhan – Cantho.
– Fairway’s sections: From buoy “0” to buoy “21” of Dinhan – Cantho fairway.
On behalf of Ministry of Transport, Southern Vietnam Maritime Safety Corporation notifies that:
In the designed navigational fairway width of 100m, limited and guided by AtoNs system, depth in meter to chart datum, detail as follows:
1) From buoy “0” of Dinhan – Cantho fairway to pair of buoys “13A” & “14A”:
– Shallow point is 3.5m at the coordinate:
Lat j = 09°28’23”7 N
Long l = 106°29’38”0 E
– Shallow points with depth less than 3,6m appear on the starboard side from upper section of buoy “3” + 300m to lower section of buoy “5A” – 500m about 2650m in length.
– Except the shallow points mentioned above, depth of this section is more than 4,0m.
2) From pair of buoys “13A” & “14A” of Dinhan – Cantho fairway to buoy “21”:
– Depth of this section is more than 6,0m.
NAVIGATING GUIDANCE:
Every vessels navigating on Dinh an – Can tho fairway should follow AtoN system and apply reasonable measure of navigation to ensure traffic safety when navigating through areas mentioned above.
