On behalf of Ministry of Transport, Southern Vietnam Maritime Safety Corporation notifies that:

1. Depth of QuyNhon fairway: In the designed navigational faiway width of 110m, limited and guided by AtoNs system, depth in meter to chart datum, with detail as follow:

1.1. Fairway’s section from buoy “0” of QuyNhon fairway to lower section of buoy “1A” -400m

a) Shallow area on the port side from lower section of buoy “2” -180m to upper section of buoy “2” +420m, about 600km in length, the farthest point encroaches 55m on channel, the shallowest depth is 10.7m appears at the co-odinate:

1.2. Fairway’s section from lower section of buoy “1A” -400m to upper section of buoy “3” +150m.

a) Shallow area on the port side from upper section of buoy “2A” +200m to upper section of buoy “2A” +520m, about 320m in length, the farthest point encroaches 30m on channel, the shallowest depth is 10.1m scattered.

b) Shallow area on the starboard side from lower section of buoy “1A” -140m to upper section of buoy “1A” +420m, about 280m in length, the farthest point encroaches 18m on channel, the shallowest depth is 10.2m appear at the co-odinate:

NAVIGATING GUIDANCE:

Vessels navigating on QuyNhon fairway should follow AtoN system and apply reasonable measure of navigation to ensure traffic safety when navigating through areas mentioned above.
