VMS-South would like to inform that:

Petrovietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) will proceed to drag Java Star 2 rig from Lot 42 to Dragon Mine of Lot 09-1 of Vietsovpetro:

1. Position of Java Star 2 at lot 42:

Latitude :      9⁰06’0,4” N

Longitude:    103⁰58’22,67” E

2. Position of Java Star 2 rig at Dragon Mine of Lot 09-1:

Latitude:                 9⁰27’36,0” N

Longitude:    107⁰57’35,99” E

(WGS – 84, was provided by Petrovietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP))

3. Chracteristics of Java Star 2rig:

- Type: Tự nâng.

- Nationality: British Virgin Island.

- Size: Length 57,38m; width 55,78m; heigh 7,62m

- Call sign: V7CO5.

- IMO: 8771863.

- Color: Blue, White, Red.

- Signals identify the night: signal lights as prescribed.

4. Working time:

- Time: It is expected to start rig drilling on February 28, 2019 and the next time the dragon mine belongs to lot 09-1 is about 5 days.

NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:

All vessels navigating on waters off the Vietnam continental shelf should pay attention to go away from the rig with the above identification characteristics at least 2 NM to ensure maritime safety.
