VMS-South would like to inform that The new establishment of sector lights “26A”, “32A” and beacon “59”  on Soài Rạp fairway:

1. Sector light “26A”

• Position: left of Soài Rạp fairway;

- Coordinates:

• Characteristics:

• Day time:
• Shape: pillar;
• Color: “red – white”;
• Mark: letter “26A”,

- Whole-body height : 22,65m;

• Focal plane height: 23,65m;
• Night time:
• Light characteristics: 03 colors “Red – White – green”, long flashing, every 10,0s;
• Luminous range: 7,0NM;
• Function: Driven out, the instructions for the online heart flow from the area of buoy “44” to buoy “32” (coordinates: 354°39’31” – 174°39’31”);
  • Mark to radio (Marking Racon beacon):
• Position: sector light “26A”;

- Active frequency: 9.300 MHz-9.500 MHz;

- Code: Morse C  (___ _ ___ _ ) ;

- Cycle: 20sON + 20sOFF = 40s;

- Time to work of Racon 24h/day;

• Luminous 17 NM with Radar 10Kw generator capacity, height 10m radar antenna feed.

2. Sector light “32A”

• Function: Driven out, the instructions for the online heart flow from the area of buoys “7”, “8” to buoys “25”, “26” (coordinates: 318°9’36” – 138°9’36”);

- Active frequency: 9.300 MHz-9.500 MHz;

- Code: Morse B (___ _ _ _);

- Cycle: 20sON + 20sOFF = 40s;

3. Beacon “59”

• Position: right of Soài Rạp fairway;

• Function: starboard hand marks (Bà Hớn channel);

• Luminous range: 3,2 NM;

NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:

All vessels navigating on Soài Rạp fairway should follow Notice to Mariners, paper chart and AtoN system to have methods of safety navigation, and absolutely comply with the Administration of Ho Chi Minh city for maritime safety./.
