VMS-South would like to inform that the establishment of the Rach Gia fairway dredging and maintenance construction(in 2024) with the following details:
- The construction areas including:
+ The construction site for dredging: Rach Gia fairway.
+ The construction site of the temporarily fairway from the port hand side of Rach Gia fairway entry of the temporarily dumping position, the fairway route’s lenght is 595,0 m.
+ The construction site for temporarily dumping área (Dimension 98 m x 29,5 m) it distance of Rach Gia fairway is about 663,0 m; it is 750,0m from the Sea-dike surrounding the dumping ground for waste (the nearest position).
- Time for construction: Estimated time 37 days (from 18/11/2024).
- Characteristics of the construction means: ponton dredger, Crance ships (Excavator), deck barge, Self-propelled barge, hopper dredger and tug boat.

All vessels navigating on Rach Gia fairway pay attention to reduce speed, keep watching and absolutely comply with the appointment of Maritime Administration of Kien Giang and the regulations force at the site for maritime safety./.
