VMS-South would like to inform that the package CM-XL03 construction area: Improvement, upgrading equipment and AtoN marks serving the dividing fairway working which belongs to the upgrading Cai Mep-Thi Vai fairway route construction project from AtoN buoy no. “0” entry of Cai Mep Container Terminal, as follows:
- The adjustment, added establishment AtoN marks area: Vung Tau – Thi Vai fairway from AtoN buoy no. “0” to Phuoc An Port area.
- The adjustment of 32 AtoN buoys with coordinates as follows:

- The new establishment of 01 AtoN buoy: Preferred channel to port, shape of lattice tower, red color (AtoN buoy no. “10”), Vung Tau-Thi Vai fairway.
- The new establishment of AIS mark: 20 AtoN buoys integrated with AIS real, synchronized flash be installed on AtoN buoys no.“0”, “1”, “2”, “3”, “4”, “6”, “7”, “8”, “10”, “12”, “13”, “16”, “19”, “22”, “37”, “43”, “48”, “50” on Vung Tau-Thi Vai fairway, AtoN buoy no. “1” on Dinh River fairway and AtoN buoy no. “2” on Sai Gon – Vung Tau fairway; 08 AIS “virtual” in the position of limited fairway’s edge of the port hand side and starboard hand side of deep water route.
- Estimated construction time: 150 days (From February 26, 2024 to July 25, 2024).
- The characteristics of construction means: Tug boat and barge crane 100 tons, buoy tender.
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE
All vessels navigating on fairway routes as Vung Tau-Thi Vai, Sai Gon – Vung Tau, Dinh River fairway crossing through the construction site area with coordinates mentioned above, pay attention to keep watching, absolutely comply with the appointment of Maritime Administration of Vung Tau, VTS Center and the regulation force at the site for maritime safety.
