VMS-South would like to inform that the construction area of dredging and maintenance waters in front of International Container Wharf (Tan Can – Cai Mep Thi Vai Wharf), with the following details:
- Within range of dredging and pumping area to the pumping area
- Range of dredging limited by points with coordinates as follows:

- Pumping to the waste area: Located on the starboard hand side of Long Tau River, 180 m from the nearest port hand side of Saigon – Vung Tau fairway, about 500 m upstream from AtoN beacon no. “50”.
- Estimated time for construction: 90 days from the commencement date (From August 23, 2024).
4. Characteristics of the construction means: Excavator (Crance barges), Barge, tugboat, Ferry bump.
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE
All vessels navigating on Vung Tau – Thi Vai fairway crossing through the construction area with coordinates mentioned above, pay attention to keep watching, and absolutely comply with the appointment of Maritime Administrations of Vung Tau, HCM, and VTS Center for maritime safety./.
