VMS-South would like to inform that Depth of waters for large tonnage vessels in Hau river
Within surveyed fairway:
Section 1 – Section waters: From buoy No. “0” to Dan Thanh Beach Dike, Duyen Hai District, Tra Vinh Province (pair of beacons No.“9”, “12”) the length is 7,7 km.
- Section from buoy No. “0” to downstream of buoy No. “7”, “10” – 200 m, the width of bottom fairway is 150 m, the length is 6,5 km :
+ Section from buoy No. “0” to buoy No. “1” + 270 m, the length is 1,6 km, the depth is 6,6 m.
+ Section from buoy No. “1” + 270 m to buoy No. “8” + 290 m, the length is 3,8 km, the depth is 4,1 m, the depth of center’s fairway is 4,7 m.
+ Section from buoy No. “8” + 290 m to buoys No. “7”, “10” – 200 m, the length is 1,1 km, the depth is 2,0 m located close to the right fairway, the depth of center’s fairway is 3,4 m.
- Section from pair of buoys No. “7”, “10” – 200 m to pair of beacons No. “9”, “12”, the width of bottom fairway is 85 m, the length is 1,2 km, the depth is 2,1 m located close to the left fairway, the depth of center’s fairway is 5,4 m.
- Section 2 – Section kenh Tac fairway: From Dan Thanh Beach Dike, Duyen Hai District, Tra Vinh Province (pair of beacons No.“9”, “12”) to fork of Quan Chanh Bo – Kenh Tac, the width of bottom fairway is 85 m, the length is 8,7 km :

- The shallow of points depth on left fairway from beacon No. “16” + 200 m to beacon No. “18” – 150 m, the length is 1,4 km, the furthest fairway is about 2 m, the depth is 5,7 m.
- The shallow of points depth on left fairway from beacon No. “18” + 270 m to Kenh Tac ferry, the length is 1,9 km, the furthest fairway is about 9 m, the depth is 5,6 m.
- The shallow of points depth on left fairway from Kenh Tac ferry to fork of Quan Chanh Bo – Kenh Tac, the length is 810 m, the furthest fairway is about 50 m, the depth is 3,2 m.
- The shallow of points depth on right fairway from beacon No. “22” – 490 m to beacon No. “22” + 240 m, the length is 250 m, the furthest fairway is about 18 m, the depth is 3,5 m.
- Other points above, the depth is 6,5 m.
- Section 3 – Section Quan Chanh Bo fairway: from fork of Quan Chanh Bo – Kenh Tac to fork of Hau river – Quan Chanh Bo fairway (area of buoy No.“46”), the width of bottom fairway is 85 m, the length is 20,0 km :
- The shallow of points depth on left fairway from fork of Quan Chanh Bo – Kenh Tac to beacon No. “24” + 100 m, the length is 800 m, the furthest fairway is about 3 m, the depth is 5,3 m.
- The shallow of points depth on right fairway from beacon No. “24” + 160 m to beacon No. “24” + 400 m, the length is 240 m, the furthest fairway is about 9,0 m, the depth is 5,9 m.
- The shallow of points depth on left fairway from beacon No. “26” – 550
m to beacon No. “26” – 250 m, the length is 300 m, the furthest fairway is about 27,0 m, the depth is 4,5 m.
- Section from beacon No. “26” to beacon No. “30” – 150 m the length is 3,7 km, the depth is 5,3 m, the depth of center’s fairway is 6,2 m.
- Section from beacon No. “30” – 150 m to beacon No. “30” + 100 m, the length is 250 km, the depth is 3,3 m located close to the left fairway, the depth of center’s fairway is 5,1 m.
- Section from beacon No. “30” + 100 m to beacon No. “34” + 200 m, the length is 4,0 km, the depth is 4,0 m, the depth of center’s fairway is 4,8 m.
- Section from beacon No. “34” + 200 m to beacon No. “38” – 600 m, the length is 2,2 km, the depth is 1,0 m, the depth of center’s fairway is 5,1 m.
- Section from beacon No. “38” – 600 m to beacon No. “42” – 50 m, the length is 4,1 km, the depth is 5,0 m, the depth of center’s fairway is 5,1 m.
- Section from beacon No. “42” – 50 m to beacon No. “44” + 200 m, the length is 1,9 km, the depth is 3,9 m, the depth of center’s fairway is 4,7 m.
- Section from beacon No. “44” + 200 m to fork of Hau river – Quan Chanh Bo fairway (area of buoy No. “46”), the length is 900 m, the depth is -0,5 m (higher than the water level “No.0 chart”) located close to the right fairway, the depth of center’s fairway is 5,0 m.
- This depth is 6,5 m.
- Section 4 – Section Hau river: From fork of Hau river – Quan Chanh Bo fairway (area of buoy No. “46”) to pair of buoys No. “57”, “64” (The intersection area with Dinh An – Hau river), the width of bottom fairway is 95 m, the length is 16,2 km :
- The shallow of points depth on right fairway from buoy No.“46” to buoy No. “46” + 220 m, the length is 220 m, the furthest fairway is about 40 m, the depth is 4,7 m.
- There are depths 6,4 m; 6,3 m; 6,1 m :

- Obstruction on fairway: Appear scattered on the mobile fish-farm section fairway from pair of beacons No. “19”, “24” to pair of beacons No. “33”, “38”, the furthest fairway is about 61 m and area of buoy No. “45” + 550 m to buoy No. “47” + 490 m the furthest fairway is about 25 m.
