VMS-South would like to inform that The parameters depth of the fairway for large load ships entry of Hau River with the following details:
Within range of the surveyed and designed fairway’s bottom for dredging and maintenance of the fairway section from AtoN buoy no. “7” – 1030 m (the seadyke area + 400 m) to “7” + 90 m, 1,12 km long, 70 m wide, limited and guided by AtoN system, depth determined by echo sounding 200 kHz frequency to chart datum is 6,42 m.
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE
All vessles navigating on the fairway for large load ships entry of Hau River are based on the issued Notice to Mariners mentioned above and comply with the appointment of Maritime Administration of Can Tho for maritime safety./.
