VMS-South would like to inform that the parameters depth of the fairway for large load ships entry of Hau River with the following details:
Within range of the surveyed designed dredging and maintenance of Tat canal, Quan Chanh Bo canal sections’ fairway bottom, Hau River fairway section belongs to the fairway for large load ships entry of Hau River, limited and guided by AtoN system, the width of fairway bottom is 70 m, depth determined by echo sounding 200 kHz frequency to chart datum.
- Tat canal, Quan Chanh Bo canal:
- From AtoN beacon pillars no. “22” – 170 m to “24” + 340 m, 1,48 km long, depth is 6,40 m.
- From AtoN buoys no. “26” + 450 m to “56”, 17,32 km long, depth is 6,40 m.
- 2. Hau River fairway section:
- From AtoN buoys no. “56” to “58”, 500 m long, depth is 6,40 m.
- From AtoN buoy no. “57” – 630 m to “57” + 650 m, 1,28 km long, depth is 6,44 m.
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE
All vessels navigating on the fairway for large load ships entry of Hau River, pay attention to the sounding chart of Tat cannal, Quan Chanh Bo cannal fairway sections entry of completely dredging and maintenance of Hau River and absolutely comply with the appointment of Maritime Administration of Can Tho for maritime safety./.
