The parameters depth of Dong Nai fairway

Waters: HCMC and Dong Nai province.

Fairway: Dong Nai.

VMS-South would like to inform that the parameters depth of Dong Nai with the following details:

Trong phạm vi tuyến luồng hàng hải có chiều dài 35,7 km, chiều rộng 150 m, được giới hạn và hướng dẫn bởi hệ thống báo hiệu hàng hải (BHHH), độ sâu được xác định bằng máy hồi âm tần số 200 kHz tính đến mực nước “số 0 hải đồ”:

1. Section 1: Continuously Sai Gon-Vung Tau fairway at Nha Be waters, beginning from Den Do Cape to the conjunction of Ong Nhieu cannel is 9,5 km in length, depth is 8,5 m.
2. Section 2: From the conjunction of Ong Nhieu cannel to the downstream of Dong Nai Bridge (it distance of 150 m from Dong Nai Bridge) is 26,2 long km (the section through Long Thanh Bridge area is about 1,0 km long, with 02 Vertical clearances 60m in length for each clearance, as follows:

 – The section from the conjunction of Ong Nhieu cannel to AtoN buoy no. “15” + 650 m, is 2,0 km in length, depth is 7,5 m on closely the fairway edge, depth at fairway center is 8,2 m.

- The section from AtoN buoy no. “15” + 650 m to beacon no. “23” – 350 m, is  6,1 km in length, depth is 9,5 m, depth at fairway center is 10,4 m.

- The fairway section from beacon no. “23” – 350 m to Aton buoy no. “14”, is 850 m in length, depth is 4,1 m on closely the starboard hand side of fairway edge, depth at fairway center is 10,1 m.

- The section from AtoN buoy no. “14” to Aton buoy no. “27” + 240 m, is 1,4 km in length, depth is 6,8 m on closely the starboard hand side of fairway edge, depth at fairway center is 7,5 m.

- The section from AtoN buoy no. “27” + 240 m to AtoN buoys no. “26” “37”, is 4,8 km in length, depth is 9,1 m.

- The section from AtoN buoys no.  “26”, “37” to buoy no. “28” + 370 m, is 2,1 km in length, depth is 6,3 m on closely the starboard hand side of fairway edge nằm sát biên phải luồng, độ sâu ở tim luồng đạt 7,3 m.

- The section from AtoN buoys no.  “28” + 370 m to buoy no. “41”, is 5,1 km long, depth is 3,1 m on closely the port hand side of fairway, depth at fairway center is 4,8 m.

- The section from AtoN buoys no.   “41” to the downstream of Dong Nai Bridge (it distance of 150 m),  3,7 km in length, as follows:

+ Appears underwater rocks on the port hand side of fairway, between buoys no. “E1”, “E2”, The furthest underwater rock encroaches 48m on fairway, the smallest depth of encroached underwater rock is 1,2m, at the position with coordinates as follows:

+ Appears underwater rock on the middle of fairway, from AtoN buoys no. “32” + 350 m to “32” + 500 m, is 180 m long, depth at the underwater rock position is 4,1 m scattered.

Except underwater rocks mentioned above, depth is 5,0 m.

3. Within range of surveyed turning basin no.01 (in front of Cat Lai Port) designed with circle has radius is 356 m, the center V1 in the position has coordinates as follows:

• Depth is 9,2 m.

4. Within range of surveyed turning basin no. 02 (at the conjunction of Ong Nhieu cannel) designed with circle has radius is 300 m, the center V2 in the position has coordinates as follows:

• Depth is 7,6 m.

5. Within range of surveyed turning basin no.03 (at the conjunction of Ong Nhieu cannel) designed with circle has radius is 300 m, the center V3 in the position has coordinates as follows:

• Depth is 10,1 m.

NAVIGATION GUIDANCE

All vessels navigating on Dong Nai fairway based on the Notice to Mariners, the sounding charts and AtoN system for maritime safety. Pay attention to, underwater rocks mentioned above, absolutely comply with the appointment of Maritime Administration of HCMC and Dong Nai./.
