NOTICE TO MARINERS
The parameters depth of Dong Nai fairway

Waters: HCMC, Dong Nai Province.
Fairway: Dong Nai.
VMS-South would like to inform that the parameters depth of Dong Nai fairway as follows:
Within range of surveyed the fairway route is 35,7 km, 150 m long, limited and guided by AtoN system, depth determined by echo sounding 200 kHz frequency to chart datum as follows:
- Section 1: Continuing Sai Gon – Vung Tau fairway in Nha Be waters, starting Mui Den Do to the conjunction of Ong Nhieu canal is 9,5 km long, depth is 8,6 m.
- Section 2: From the conjunction of Ong Nhieu canal to the downstream of Dong Nai Bridge (150 m from Dong Nai bridge) length 26.2 km (the fairway section through Long Thanh bridge area is about 1.0 km long, with 02 navigation compartments, each 60 m wide):
- From the conjunction of Ong Nhieu canal to AtoN buoy no. “15” + 650 m, 1,9 km long:
+ Appears depth points 6,3 m; 6,2 m; 7,0 m in the position with coordinates as follows:

- The fairway section from beacon no. “23” – 250 m to “23” + 650 m, 900 m long, depth is 3,8 m on close fairway’s edge, depth in fairway center is 10,3 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “23” + 650 m to “27”, 1,7 km long, depth is 6,2 m, depth in fairway center is 7,8 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “27” to “37” + 900 m, 5,9 km long as follows:

+ There exists a reef located on the left side of the fairway, between the pair of BHHH buoys marked “E1″, “E2″, the farthest encroachment on the fairway is 48 m, the depth reaches 1.2 m at the location with the coordinates:

All vessels navigating on Dong Nai fairway route based on the Notice to Mariners, the sounding charts and AtoN system for maritime safety. Pay attention to under water rock banks, mobile aquaculture areas mentioned above and absolutely comply with the appointment of Maritime Administrations of HCMC and Dong Nai for maritime safety.
