VMS-South would like to inform that the parameters depth of Soai Rap fairway as follows:
Within range of the surveyed fairway limited and guided by AtoN system, depth determined by echo sounding 200 kHz frequency to chart datum as follows :
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “0” to “15”, “16”, 17,9 km long, the fairway bottom width is 160 m:
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “0” to “6” – 880 m, 5,9 km long, depth is 8,5 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “6” – 880 m to “6” + 550 m, 1,4 km long, depth is 4,9 m on close the starboard hand side of the fairway, depth at the fairway center is 8,3 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “6” +550 m to “15”, “16”, 10,4 km long, depth is 8,9 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “15”, “16” to the upstream of Container Sai Gon Center (SPCT) wharf, 39,7 km long, , the least fairway bottom’s width is 120 m:
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “15”, “16” to s “17”, “18”, 2,0 km long, depth is 8,5 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “17”, “18” to “25”, “26” – 490 m, 11,0 km long, depth is 8,0 m, depth at the fairway center is 8,4 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “25”, “26” – 490 m to no. “32” + 320 m, 5,2 km long, depth is 8,5 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no “32” + 320 m to “36” – 830 m, 3,3 km long, depth is 6,1 m, depth at the fairway center is 6,6 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “36” – 830 m to “40” – 550 m, 2,8 km long, depth is 7,4 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “40” – 550 m to “37” – 430 m, 1,8 km long, depth is 8,5 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “37” – 430 m to “51”, 7,2 km long, depth is 9,0 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “51” m to “60” – 180 m, 1,0 km long, depth is 8,1 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoy no. “60” – 180 m to the upstream of Container Sai Gon Center (SPCT) wharf, 5,4 km long, depth is 8,8 m.
- The fairway section from Container Sai Gon Center (SPCT) Wharf to the upstream of Tan Cang Hiep Phuoc Wharf, 1,9 km long, the least fairway bottom’s width is 120 m, depth is 6,8 m, depth at the fairway center is 7,3 m.
- The fairway section from the upstream of of Tan Cang Hiep Phuoc wharf ‘s Turning basin to the conjunction of Binh Khanh (between Soai Rap River and Nha Be River), 7,1 km long, the least fairway bottom’s width is 150 m:
- The fairway section from the upstream of Tan Cang Hiep Phuoc wharf ‘s Turning basin to AtoN buoy no. “71” – 50 m, 2,4 km long, depth is 9,0 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoys no. “71” – 50 m to “74” – 170 m, 2,8 km long, depth is 5,1 m.
- The fairway section from AtoN buoy no. “74” – 170 m to the conjunction of Binh Khanh (between Soai Rap River and Nha Be River), 1,9 km long, depth is 6,1 m on close the starboard hand side of AtoN buoy no. “58”, depth at the fairway center is 10,2 m.
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE
All vessels navigating on Soai Rap fairway are based on the Notice to Mariners, the sounding charts and AtoN system to have safety navigation measures. Pay attention to the appointment of Maritime Administration of HCMC./.
