Fairway: Định An – Sông Hậu.
Section: from segment buoy “21” to Gòi Lớn channel.
VMS-South would like to inform that:
Within surveyed waters on Định An – Sông Hậu fairway limited and guided by AtoN:
- Section from buoy “21” to buoy “85” with 79,7km in length, 200 in width:
- Section from buoy “21” to downstream of buoy “34” – 810m, 6,2km in length, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 3,3m.
- Section downstream of buoy “34” – 810m to buoy “40”, 7,8km in length, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 6,1m.
- Section from buoy “40” to downstream of buoy “62” – 370m, 26,5km in length, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 7,6m.
- Section downstream of buoy “62” – 370m to upstream of buoy “62” + 1130m, 1,5km in length, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 4,9m.
- Section from upstream of buoy “62” + 1130m to buoy “85” 37,7km in length, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 7,1m.
- Section from buoy “85” to Hoàng Diệu port with 200m in width, divided by Cồn Sơn:
- a) Section from right of Cồn Sơn fairway with 6,3km in length, 200m in width, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 9,3m.
- b) Section from left of Cồn Sơn fairway with 6,7km in length:

- Section from Vàm Ô Môn – Vàm Cái Sắn – Rạch Gòi Lớn with 51,66km in length, divided by Cù lao Tân Lộc :
- Section from right of Tân Lộc Island (from Vàm Ô Môn area to turning basin of Rạch Gòi Lớn – buoys “133” and “130”) 32,81km in length, 200m in width, section Vàm Cống bridge (2,0km in length), 100m in width, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 7,4m.
- Section from left of Tân Lộc Island (from buoys “111” and “108” to buoy “125” and “122” about Vàm Cống 1,7km to upstream) 18,85km in length, 60m in width, depth in meters to Chart Datum is 5,1m.
- Turning basin area with D = 300m, center VQ with coordinates:

- Obstacles on fairways:
- Fish bottoms appear scattered in the following locations: downstream of buoy “44” – 1100m, upstream of buoy “49” + 480m, downstream of buoy “61” – 200m, buoy “103” and upstream of buoy “114” + 400m.
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:
All vessels navigating on Định An – Sông Hậu fairway should notice mooring buoy with characteristics mentioned above, keep watching, and comply strictly with the regulation of Cần Thơ and An Giang Maritime Administration for maritime safety.
