Parameter depth of Dong Tranh-Go Gia fairway

Fairway: Đồng Tranh – Gò Gia.
VMS-South would like to inform that:
Within range of surveyed Dong Tranh-Go Gia fairway route limited and guided by AtoN system, the least depth in meters to Chart Datum as follows:
- River Section Dong Tranh from Long Tau confluence river (belongs to Sai Gon – Vung Tau fairway) to Tat Cua confluence river is 15,3km long, the least width of fairway bottom is 130m:
- Depth band point is on starboard hand side of fairway from downstream of AtoN buoy no. “25” – 280m to downstream of AtoN buoy no. “25” – 180m, is 100m long, the furthest point encroaches 32m on fairway, the least depth is 0,7m.
- Except Depth band point mentioned above, depth is 3,3m, the least depth at fairway center is 4,9m.
Pay attention to: Moving fishing stakes appear scattered on fairway from Tat Ong Trum confluence river to AtoN buoy no. “8”.
- Dong Tranh River Section to Tat Ong Cu confluence river to Tat Bai is 10,2km long, The least fairway bottom is 105m:
- The Section from Tat Cua confluence river to Tat Ong Cu is 1,9km long, the least depth is 1,6m.
- The Section from Tat Ông Cu confluence river to Tat Bai is 8,3km long, the least depth is 2,2m, the least depth at fairway center is 6,8m.
Pay attention to: Moving fishing stakes appear scattered on fairway opposite Bung canal and from Tat Ông Cu confluence river to Tat Bai.
- Dong Tranh River section from Long Tau confluence river (downstream section) to Tat Ong Cu – Tat Bai confluence is 8,3km long, fairway route uses natural depth has coordinates of route center determined as follows:

- The least depth on fairway center route is 0,5m.
Pay attention to: Moving fishing stakes appear scattered on fairway from Long Tau confluence river (downstream section) to Tat Ong Cu – Tat Bai confluence.
- The Tat Cua section is 6,4km long, the least fairway bottom is 70m wide, the least depth is 8,4m.
Pay attention to: Moving fishing stakes appear scattered on fairway in area opposite Nuoc Hoi canal.
- Go Gia Section river from Tat Cua confluence to Tat Bai:
- The section from Tat Cua confluence to Tat Bai is 2,0km, the least fairway bottom is 140m wide, the least depth is 9,9m.
- Turning Basin (at position distance of 500m from Tắt Cua confluence towards downstream) is limited by circle has radius is 380m, the least depth is 10,5m.
- Go Gia Section River from Tat Bai confluence river to Cai Mep (belongs to Vũng Tàu – Thị Vải fairway):
- The section from Tat Bai confluence river to Cai Mep river (belongs to Vung Tau-Thi Vai fairway) is 7,0km long, the least fairway bottom is 140m wide, the least depth is 12,5m.
- Turning Basin (in position of Tat Bai confluence river) limited by circle has radius is 550m, the least depth is 12,1m.
Pay attention to: Moving fishing stakes appear scattered on fairway in area opposite BP04 anchorage area and opposite Port area 1.
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:
All means navigating on Dong Tranh-Go Gia fairway, based on the Notice to Mariners, sounding charts, and AtoN system for maritime safety. Please pay attention to depth band points, moving fishing stakles mentioned above and absolutely comply with Vietnam Maritime Administration of HCMC./.
