NOTICE TO MARINERS
Parameter depth of Quy Nhon fairway

Waters: Binh Dinh Province.
Fairway: Quy Nhon.
VMS-South would like to inform that:
- Within range of surveyed Quy Nhon fairway is 6,3 km long, 110 m wide, limited and guided by the AtoN system, the depth determined by Sounding machine 200 kHz frequency to chart datum, as follows:
- The section from AtoN buoy no. “0” to buoy no. “7”+50 m, is 4,0 km long, the depth is 10,0 m.
- The section from AtoN buoy no. “7”+ 50 m to the Turning basin, is 2,0 km long, the least depth is 10,5 m on port side of fairway, the depth in fairway center is 11,6 m.
- Within range of surveyed turning basin limited by the circle has a diameter of 300 m, center in the position has coordinates as follows:

- The depth is determined by the sounding machine 200 kHz frequence to Chart datum is 9,4 m.
- Within range of surveyed fairway in the anchorage area of Thi Nai lagoon: Continuing from the upstream of the turning basin (at the water area in front of Pier 4 – Quy Nhon Harbor) to the end of the anchorage area of Thi Nai Lagoon (at Hon Thap area), in which the section from the upstream of wharf No. 1 – Quy Nhon port to Hon Thap area is used together with the water area to arrange ship mooring points and is divided into 02 symmetrical entrances 02 on the axis the anchor point is 2.6 km long and 80 m wide channel

Pay attention to: Moving fishing-stakes appears scattered anywhere on the fairway from AtoN buoy no. “16” to Hon Thap area.
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:
All means navigating on the route of Quy Nhon fairway based on the Notice to Mariners mentioned above, the sounding charts, and the Aids to Navigation system for maritime safety. Pay attention to, moving fishing-stakes appears scattered anywhere on the fairway and absolutely comply with the appointment of Maritime Administration of Quy Nhon./.
