Scanning for lost containers due to the incident of ship Alica at Tan Cang Hiep Phuoc port on Soai Rap fairway

VMS-South would like to inform that: Within surveyed scanning for lost containers due to the incident of ship Alica at Tan Cang Hiep Phuoc port on Soai Rap fairway
- Zone 1: From the downstream of navigational buoy “71” about 225 m to the area of maritime signal buoy No. ’58’ (Binh Khanh junction) extending from the two sides of fairway to each side about 50 m, the length is about 50 m. 4.9 km, the average width is about 353 m.
- Zone 2: From Saigon Hiep Phuoc port to the downstream of maritime signal buoy “65” about 620 m, extending from the two sides of fairway to each side about 50 m, the length is about 4.1 km, the average width is about 300 m.
There is no obstruction.
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:
All vessels navigating in Soai Rap fairway based on the Notice to Mariners, paper charts, depth and AtoN system and should have methods of safety navigation. Absolutely comply with the regulation of Ho Chi Minh Maritime Administration for maritime safety.
