Pull Java Star 2 rig from PTSC port – Vung Tau to lot 42 to well drilling PQ-1X

VMS-South would like to inform that:

PetroVietnam Domestic Exploration Production Operating Company Limited (PVEP POC) will pull KS Java Star 2 rig from PTSC port – Vũng Tàu to lot 42 to well drilling PQ-1X, offshore continental shelf of Việt Nam, as follow:

1. Position of KS Java Star 2 rig at PTSC port – Vũng Tàu with coordinates:

Latitude :        10°24’04,50″ N

Longitude:    107°01’58,23″ E

2. Position of KS Java Star 2 at lot 42 with coordinates:

Latitude :        09⁰06’00,4″ N

Longitude:    103⁰58’22,67″ E

3. Characteristics of KS Java Star 2:

- Type: Rig upgrade.

- Nationality: Marshall Island.

- Size: length 57,38m; width 55,78m, heigh 7,62m.

- Call-sign: V7CO5.

- IMO: 8771863.

- Color: blue, white, red.

- Night signal: light follow rule.

4. Working-time: It is expected to start dragging the Java Star 2 rig from PTSC port – Vung Tau to lot 42 within a period of 5 days from December 20, 2018. PQ-1X well drilling was carried out for about 56 days.

NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:

- All vessels navigating on offshore continental shelf of Vietnam should pay attention to travel away from the drilling rig with the identification characteristics and the location of the said coordinates for maritime safety.
