Waters:          Vietnam offshore.

VMS-South would like to inform:

About 17h45’ GMT+7 on December 18, 2015 at the illegal construction wharf area on Ba Binh island (Taiwan calls Taiping island) which is part of Vietnam’s Truong Sa (Spratly);  the man-made wharf measured 75m long, 26m wide and 2320 tons weight, was broken up and drifted towards the South, now it wasn’t found, the location of wharf with coordinates as follow:

NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:

  1. 1. All vessels navigating on Vietnam offshore, watch carefully and for maritime safety, if finding out the wharf mentioned above, please report location and condition of this wharf to relevant authorities.
  2. 2. For detailed information, please contact to Directorate of Fisheries.

3. VMS-South will announce the newest information in next Notice to Mariners.
