Depth of waters at Tien river

Waters: Tien Giang province.
Fairway: Tien river.
VMS-South would like to inform that Depth of waters at Tien river:
Within surveyed fairway that is limited and guided by AtoN system:
- Section from buoy No. “0” to Vam Kinh (pair of buoys No. “25”, “26”) the length is 25 km, the width of bottom fairway is 80 m:
- Section from pair of buoys No. “0”, to pair of buoys No. “1”, “2” + 800 m, the length is 2,8 km, the depth is 5,0 m.
- Section from pair of buoys No. “1”, “2” + 800 m to pair of buoys No. “5”, “6” – 400 m, the length is 2,5 km, the depth is 3,0 m.
- Section from pair of buoys No. “5”, “6” – 400 m, to pair of buoys No. “11”, “12” – 900 m, the length is 5,4 km, the depth is 2,0 m.
- Section from pair of buoys No. “11”, “12” – 900 m to cặp phao “17”, “18”, the length is 6,9 km, the depth is 1,5 m.
- Section from pair of buoys No. “17”, “18” to pair of buoys No. “25”, “26”, the length is 7,4 km, the depth is 3,1 m.
- Section from Vam Kinh (pair of buoys No. “25”, “26”) to upstream of My Tho port + 500 m, the length is 49 km, the width of bottom fairway is 150 m:
- Section from Vam Kinh (pair of buoys No. “25”, “26”) to pair of bouys “30”, “31” – 800 m, the length is 4,9 km, the depth is 3,0 m, the depth of center fairway is 3,7 m.
- Section from pair of buoys No. “30”, “31” – 800 m to buoy No. “45” – 50 m, the length is 15,7 km, the depth is 4,7m.
- Section from buoy No. “45” – 50 m to buoy No. “42”, the length is 5,5 km, the depth is 3,6 m, the depth of center fairway is 5,3 m.
- Section from buoy No. “42” to pair of buoys No. “46”, “53”
- 50 m, the length is 8,1 km, the depth is 4,4 m, the depth of center fairway is 4,8 m.
- Section from pair of buoys No. “46”, “53” – 50 m to upstream of My Tho port + 500 m, the length is 14,8 km, the depth is 6,6 m.
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE:
All means navigating on the fairway belongs to the Tien river, pay attention to buoy mentioned above, navigating following the fairway center, the guidance of AtoN system, keep smoothly communication, and absolutely comply with the appointment of Maritime Administration of Ho Chi Minh.
